Selection Menu Overhaul

Player and manager pick screens rebuilt — 16 faces on screen at once instead of 9, faster scrolling through squads and staff lists. Gender league switch removed: the mod focuses on men's European football only.
The First Screen You See
Before kits, chants or league tables, there is the selection menu — the grid of faces where you choose a manager or hunt for a club to manage. In the base game that screen shows nine photos at a time. With EUROPEAN MOD 26's 377 clubs and deep European roster, you scroll constantly. FIFAMAN overhauled both the player and manager selection menus: more faces visible, faster navigation, and a cleaner flow aligned with a mod that removed women's leagues entirely.
- Player and manager selection menus redesigned
- Built for a mod with 377 clubs and 22 men's leagues
- First-touch UI improvement before Career Mode starts
- Faster path from boot screen to your save
Nine Photos, Endless Scrolling
Previously, only nine manager or player photos appeared on screen at once. Finding the right face in a long list meant constant scrolling — click, scroll, click again. For a quick friendly that is fine. For a mod built around obscure Balkan, Baltic and CIS clubs you actually want to manage, it slows the very first interaction with the game. The layout left usable space empty while forcing you through a narrow window into the database.
- Base game: only 9 photos visible at once
- Constant scrolling through manager and player lists
- Wasted screen space on the selection grid
- Friction before you even start Career Mode

Sixteen Faces — Scan, Pick, Play
The selection layout was expanded so sixteen photos are visible on screen simultaneously — nearly double the base game. Manager portraits and player faces are easier to compare side by side, and reaching a club deep in the alphabet takes fewer scroll actions. Typography and grid spacing were tuned so the extra rows stay readable, not cramped. The screenshot below shows the improved player grid in action — more faces visible, cleaner layout, faster browsing through EUROPEAN MOD 26's full club roster.
- 16 photos visible on screen at once — up from 9
- Player and manager menus both overhauled
- Fewer scroll actions to reach any club
- Readable grid spacing — not a cramped wall of faces
Men's Leagues Only — Switch Removed
EUROPEAN MOD 26 is built around men's European leagues — 22 added competitions, 377 clubs, no women's teams in the roster. The gender league switch button was removed from the selection flow because it no longer serves a purpose: all women's leagues and teams have been completely removed from the mod. One less menu layer, one less dead end. You pick a men's club and start football — no toggling between parallel databases the mod does not include.
- Gender league switch button removed from selection menus
- All women's leagues and teams removed from the mod
- Cleaner flow focused on men's European Career Mode
- No empty women's database toggle in a men's-only mod
Faster Starts, Cleaner Saves
Selection menus are easy to overlook in a features list — until you restart saves, test clubs or hunt for a new project mid-cycle. Sixteen visible faces compound across every new career, every manager change and every squad browse. Combined with the Better Standings Menu and FIFAMAN's selection screen work elsewhere in the mod, the interface layer catches up to the content layer: EUROPEAN MOD 26 is large, so the menus stopped pretending the screen is small.
- Quicker club and manager selection every save
- Pairs with Better Standings and other UI overhauls
- Interface scaled to 377-club mod scope
- Less friction from boot to kick-off
Pick your manager and build your squad without scrolling through nine faces at a time.
