Minifaces

More than 10,000 high-quality minifaces across the mod — covering around 99% of every player in EUROPEAN MOD 26. Squad screens, transfer lists and matchday line-ups finally show faces that belong to the 2025/26 season, not blurry placeholders from years ago.
The Face You See Before Every Match
Minifaces are easy to overlook until they are wrong. In FC 26 Career Mode you spend hours in squad management, transfer hubs, team selection and broadcast close-ups — and the small portrait next to each name sets the tone. A sharp, current headshot makes a Russian winger, a Greek centre-back or a Serbian youth prospect feel real the moment you scroll the roster. A washed-out generic face from another era breaks that trust instantly. EUROPEAN MOD 26 rebuilt the miniface layer at scale: not a cosmetic patch for famous leagues, but a deep pass across the entire mod roster so immersion holds from your first friendly to your last European night.
- Minifaces appear everywhere — squads, transfers, line-ups, broadcasts
- The first visual cue that a player belongs to your save
- Rebuilt for the full EUROPEAN MOD 26 player database
- Small portraits that carry the same realism as kits and stadiums
10,000+ Minifaces. ~99% Coverage.
The numbers define the scope of the work. EUROPEAN MOD 26 adds more than 10,000 minifaces — a volume that moves this from a side project into one of the largest visual databases in the mod. Coverage now reaches around 99% of all players in the roster. That means when you browse a Bulgarian squad, a Kazakh bench or a Turkish transfer shortlist, almost every name carries a dedicated portrait instead of a blank EA silhouette or a recycled face from an unrelated player. The remaining gap is deliberate: only where no acceptable source could be found at FC 26 quality — never filled with low-effort placeholders just to tick a box.
- 10,000+ custom minifaces added to the mod
- ~99% coverage across the full player roster
- Deep coverage in every added league — not just headline clubs
- Missing faces only where no quality source existed
2025/26 Photos From Real Football
Every miniface starts with the right reference. Photos were taken primarily from the 2025/26 season — sourced from official club websites, league media packs, press galleries and matchday photography where clubs publish high-resolution headshots. When a federation or club did not publish a usable image, we looked to verified player social media — but only when the photo was sharp, recent and clearly showed the player as he looks today. The goal was always the same: a portrait that matches the season you are playing, not a teenager from a decade-old archive or a cropped crowd shot from a televised match.
- Primary sources: official club and league photography for 2025/26
- Season-accurate headshots — not outdated archive images
- Social media used only when quality and recency meet our bar
- Each portrait matched to the player in your current save
FC 26 Quality — Transfermarkt Ignored
Not every photo on the internet belongs in a game. Low-quality images from Transfermarkt were completely ignored — too small, too soft, too often years out of date, and never built for the resolution FC 26 expects on modern displays. EUROPEAN MOD 26 applies a strict quality gate instead: sharpness, lighting, crop, background cleanliness and file resolution all checked before a miniface enters the mod. All photos follow FC 26 quality standards — sized and prepared for in-game rendering so faces stay crisp in squad menus, not just acceptable in a browser thumbnail. That discipline is why adding 10,000 portraits took real time — and why the result feels premium when you play.
- Transfermarkt images rejected — low resolution and poor quality
- Every photo vetted for sharpness, crop and FC 26 display standards
- Prepared for in-game menus — not web thumbnails pasted in
- Quality over quantity: no mass import of unusable assets
What FC 26 quality looks like in practice
Every miniface in EUROPEAN MOD 26 is cropped, sized and tested for in-game squad menus — not pasted from a website thumbnail. The comparison below shows the standard we enforce: correct head scale, clean neck crop, no oversized portraits, no faces cut off at the chin or starting halfway down the forehead.
- No Transfermarkt imports — official and league sources only
- Proper crop — full face visible, no half-throat or chin-only cuts
- Correct scale — no oversized heads in squad screens
- Built to FC 26 display standards across every league in the mod

From Star Names to Squad Players
A miniface project fails if only the first XI looks good. EUROPEAN MOD 26 covers the depth of every squad — starters, rotation players, bench options and youth prospects who might not start a game for three seasons but still appear in your academy reports. Scroll through a Serbian superclub's reserves, a Cypriot mid-table side or a Russian Premier League youth intake: the same standard applies. That consistency matters in long Career Mode saves where you live inside menus as much as on the pitch. Transfers feel more believable when the incoming signing looks like the player you watched on highlights. Youth promotions feel personal when the teenager on your screen matches the name on the report.
- Starters, substitutes and squad depth all covered
- Youth and reserve players receive the same quality pass
- Consistent portraits across every league in the mod
- Long saves stay immersive in menus — not just on matchday
Career Mode That Looks Like 2025/26
EUROPEAN MOD 26 is built so every layer of Career Mode tells the same story — authentic kits, real stadium names, licensed coaches and now a miniface library that finally matches the ambition of the mod. Combined with Real Faces for premium sculpted likenesses and the Selection Menu Overhaul for cleaner squad presentation, player identity is no longer a weak link. Whether you manage in Moscow, Athens, Belgrade or Reykjavik, the people on your screen look like the season you are living in. That is what 10,000+ minifaces at ~99% coverage delivers: not a statistic on a feature page, but a roster you trust every time you open the team sheet.
- Minifaces complete the visual realism stack in Career Mode
- Pairs with Real Faces and Selection Menu Overhaul
- Every league in the mod — one consistent portrait standard
- Rosters that look current from the first transfer window
Open a squad screen and recognise your players at a glance — because every face in the mod was chosen with care, not scraped from the first result on Google.
